The Florida NELA listserv is consistently cited as one of the most powerful tools our chapter offers. Members use it daily for:

Florida Employment Lawyers Association Membership

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to individuals who support the mission of workplace justice, including:

  • Plaintiff‑side employment attorneys
  • Law professors
  • Law students (as Associate Members)
  • Retired attorneys

To qualify as a standard member, at least 50% of your practice must involve representing employees.

Membership Cycle & Listserv Access

Membership runs April 1 – March 31 each year. Dues must be renewed by May 1 to maintain active status and listserv access.

If eligible for listserv access, please allow 3–5 business days after registration for activation.

Membership Categories & Benefits

Standard Membership

Two annual dues levels based on years in practice. Includes:

Professor & Retiree Membership — $225/year

Includes:

  • Directory profile
  • Full listserv access, but does not include voting rights or eligibility to hold office.

Associate Membership — $50/year

Available to Florida Bar members and law students who do not primarily represent employers. Includes:

  • Directory profile, but does not include voting rights, office eligibility, or listserv access.
